His journey began as a keen-eyed street photographer, navigating through the fervent demonstrations and the relentless chaos of war, his lens bearing witness to history unfolding in real-time. Between 2008 and 2013, Firooz honed his skills as a news and social photographer during an extensive freelancing tenure with the BBC. His efforts here showcased his immense talent and positioned him as a prominent voice in the documentation of contemporary events.
Further solidifying his standing, Firooz joined the eminent “Anadolu International News Agency of Turkey” in 2013. He served as a luminary in the field for seven prolific years, donning multiple hats as a seasoned photographer and astute reporter in western Afghanistan.
